Writing on a Monday having had a pretty great weekend, fairly unusual for January I would think. Watched Friday Night Lights on Friday (best soundtrack ever?!) took the month’s gig count into double figures with Dead City Radio on Saturday night and had a fun shoot with French Wives on Sunday night which I’ll get up at some point after the proofs are approved.
My cousin Iain, who I used to play in a band with and is also a good photographer now plays bass with Dead City Radio. They played Glasgow’s Maggie Mays on Saturday night and Iain asked me to get some snaps of the current line up. The night descended into a bit of a haze with camera in tow so I have a few ‘interesting’ shots from later in the night that I might post up later in the week.
Took a flash along for a bit of a change knowing the band wouldn’t mind and tried out some shutter lags. Quite pleased with how some of the drummer Robert came out.
