Earlier this month I was filming the music industry event Wide Days. After a day of seminars, 7 bands played in a few different venues throughout Edinburgh (quick, while it still has 3 open venues!).
The first band, who I had never heard of at that point, were Honeyblood. They are easily the most exciting new band I’ve seen this year. I really loved their stripped back, agitated ‘grunge’ sound. They have a few tracks up on Soundcloud and I’d definitely recommend trying to catch them live soon.
Yeah, I’m totally going to listen to these guys just because they have girls in the band.
