On Wednesday night I went along to the Tron Theatre in Glasgow to photograph a Celtic Connection show with Alasdair Roberts supported by Muntu Valdo.
Muntu Valdo opening was fantastic, really enjoyed his music and his chat. Alasdair Roberts, up after had a hard act to follow, didn’t really set my world alight despite the obvious talent. Not exactly up my street but enjoyable none-the-less.
I was photographing for The Skinny who have featured some of my shots from the gig here.
It was a difficult gig to photograph, the layout of the theatre meant I didn’t have access to the front of stage and was restricted to the aisles at the side.
Off out shortly for another Celtic Connection job which I’ll post probably over the weekend.
On another note, I got a job today that I’m pretty excited about. Portrait shoot with The Skinny revolving around one of my favourite childhood pass-times (if you can call it that). Anyway, all shall be revealed next week.
Have a good weekend x
