So every now and then you get a phone call that is a little different from the norm. Last month, I got one of those calls. It went something like:
Pete: “Hey Euan, would you be able to photograph Judas Priest at the SECC tonight”
Me: “Eh, let me check my diary *cough cough* ok, I think I can make that(!!!!!)”
Yeah, so one of the world’s biggest metal bands, and my first time shooting in the SECC.
It really was as camp as you’d expect. Lots of leather, spikes and pyrotechnics. Great fun to photograph, although exposing for random bursts of flames was trickier than I’d anticipated.
